Barleywine – American
A Belgian Dark Strong (Quad). The name “Key to the Highway” is a blues standard that has been performed and recorded by Charlie Segar in 1940, followed by Little Walter and Eric Clapton. A dark, complex, very strong Belgian ale with a delicious blend of malt richness, dark fruit flavors, and spicy notes. Complex, rich, smooth and dangerous. The beer is brewed with Pilsner, Munich, Abbey and other specialty malts. We then add a healthy dose of Belgian Dark Candy Syrup and Raw Sugar near the end of the boil. AGED IN BOURBON BARRELS.
