Imperial Red Rye IPA – “Gnarly Red-Eye Rooster” is a play on “Little Red Rooster” a blues standard credited to arranger and songwriter Willie Dixon. Juicy American hops complement the malty profile. Tropical fruit and juicy citrus notes merge to create a succulent hop character. A pleasant maltiness accompanies the hop showcase. Rye malt lends a subtle spicy character to the flavor. This beer has a wonderful malt/hop balance, and a beautiful reddish amber color. Cheers! Grains: Pilsner, Vienna, Munich, Rye and other specialty malts Hops: Citra, Chinook, Centennial and Mosaic Notes: tropical fruit, citrus, bread crust, and spicy rye notes
