Stout – American Imperial / Double
Dark Star is black in color with a delicious coffee, chocolate and vanilla flavor. We infuse the beer with 100% cocoa nibs and fresh roasted Bolivian coffee beans from our local roaster The Young Bean. Flaked Oats are added to lend a velvety mouthfeel. The beer is then aged in a freshly dumped Heaven Hill bourbon barrel for 6 months. Rich dark chocolate, roasted coﬀee, bourbon and vanilla ﬂavors accentuate a creamy mouthfeel and flavor bonanza to create perfect balance in this full-bodied stout. Grains: Pale Ale, Oats, Chocolate Malt, Roasted and Black Malts and Caramel Malt Hops: Magnum, Columbus, Chinook and Cascade Notes: rich dark chocolate, fresh roasted coffee, bourbon, vanilla, dried fruit, toffee, caramel and vinous notes.
